He had a special personality that most people don't have . Our friendship go back 22 years. He gave me advice about life . Rest in Heaven my friend, Clinton Taylor.

Emmett will be dearly missed by all those with whom he came into contact. I got to know him while he was married to Pat and then that friendship continued with his relationship and eventual marriage to Janis! We enjoyed many activities- playing Bingo and various card games as well as sharing home-cooked meals and going out to eat. Helping both Emmett and Janis pack up one house on the East coast and move into another in South Carolina was quite an event! He and Janis settled into their new home which they shared for just over a year. Emmett is at peace now, looking down on us and hoping to protect us from above. God bless him! He will be missed!!! RIP Emmett!!!
