Obituary of Rodney James Cribbs

A graveside service which relatives and friends are invited to attend for Rodney James Cribbs, 57, will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 2 P.M. at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Rd, Lexington Rodney was born March 10, 1954 in Peoria, IL and passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011. He was a son of Nora Stoud Cribbs and the late James Cribbs. Rodney grew up in Peoria, IL and enjoyed the native life and taking care of kids and grandkids. Rodney enjoyed telling stories. He loved life, meeting people and was a self-educated man. Rodney is survived by his wife, Cheryl Cribbs of Pelion; daughters, Teresa Cribbs, Jamie Cribbs, Kayla Stanley, Allison Herring; stepchildren, Arthur, Edgar and Dorothy Payne; seven siblings; fifteen grandchildren and niece, Nikki Duncan.
