To Cheryl, and the rest of your family...
Very sorry to hear about your loss, it's gonna be a tough road but always think of your husband and the joy and happiness he put into your lives. He will always watch down upon you and give you the peace of security through your tough times. I hope you do well in these tough times. And I appreciate the advice you have given me through my hard time.

rodney was called home to soon.
He could drive me crazy at times and I would have to call upon his mom for her assistance and guidance with him but when he held me in his arms I knew I was loved totally and completely.
I miss him with all my heart
and will always love him dearly until we are due to meet again when I myself am called home.

Rodney Cribbs was my father and he will be so greatly missed. I am his youngest daughter, Kayla Stanley. What I remember most about me and him is when we always worked on his Ford truck.. He always wanted to teach me to work on cars. He always wanted to work on things when they were broke. I remember one time he was fixing a light and he was standing on a ladder. He lost his balance and fell off the ladder. Me and my two sisters were watching and when we seen him fall we sat there for a second and when he moved we all starting laughing really hard. He walked in and said "Why yall laughing I could've died" and my sister Teresa says, "Did you see how far you bounced". My dad couldn't do anything but laugh his own self when he heard Teresa say that. My mom always talked about that day... He always fell at some point doing something and everytime he did we always talk about that one ladder incident...My daddy was the person you laughed at when he fell and my father was the one who would make you laugh to the point you couldn't breathe or messed your pants...My daddy will always be remembered and I know he is in heaven telling his stories like he did when he was alive..I love you daddy and I will always miss you..p.s I will take care of mom, you dont need to worry about her..

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Death is an enemy to us all. It is especially an enemy when it strike someone dear to us. God is more powerful than death and he promise to get rid of this enemy once and for all. The Bible teaches; "As the last enemy, death will be brought to nothing." (1Corinthians 15;26) Then John 5:28 will be fulfilled that reads; "Marvel not at this for the hour is coming when all that are in the graves shall hear his voice and come forth." I hope this message will help you cope with the loss of your loved one.
