My condolences to the Camp family. Mr. Camp and his wife would always walk up to Columbia High School (years 1993 - 2000 when I had 2 sons playing CHS baseball) and watch the Varsity baseball team practice and very seldom missed a home baseball game. We loved visiting with them and having them come around. My son Kyle was a pitcher and Mr. Camp would give him pointers with his pitching. He was such a nice man and I know he will truly be missed. I am sorry for your loss.

I did not know the Candy man personally, but he sat three rows in front of us at the baseball games. Candy Man, you will be missed! You filled the area with joy and made us all laugh. Baseball here will never be the same! Always a legend!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Camp family. Ron and I were saddened to hear about Mr. Bill's passing but know that he lived a full and happy life. We so enjoyed being around him at Gamecock baseball games over the years. It won't be the same without him throwing out candy at the games and always sneaking me a few extras. I'm sad but at the same time I have a smile on my face whenever I think of Mr. Bill and what a sweet, loving man he was and how much he loved the his Gamecock baseball!!!

Bill was the best Baseball Coach I ever had. He coached me in Pony League and Colt League 50+ years ago. I always looked forward to visiting with him at Carolina Baseball games. He will be missed by many.
