Obituary of Dixon Jones Goodwin

Dixon Jones Goodwin, 68, of Gilbert, South Carolina passed away July 10, 2017 at Agape Hospice House in Lexington, South Carolina . He was born on October 11, 1948 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to Dixon and Lou Enid (Jones ) Goodwin. He graduated from The Citadel and then married his wife of 46 years Sandra Jane Broome. Mr. Goodwin received his commission from The Citadel and went directly into the United States Air Force where he served during the Vietnam War era. Dixon lived in the Columbia area for over 44 years. Dixon is survived by his wife Sandra Jane Goodwin of Gilbert, SC. He was preceded in death by his parents Dixon P. and Lou Enid Goodwin.
