Obituary of Linda Marie Blake Miles

Linda Marie Blake Miles, 64, of Blythewood passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Born in West Point, Mississippi she was the daughter of Hattie Mae Eaton Blake and the late Julian Blake. She was a member of Palmetto Church of Christ and Riverland Hills Alzheimer's Caregivers' Support Group. Memorial services will be held Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 3pm at Palmetto Church of Christ, 7000 Nursery Road Columbia SC 29212. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane Columbia SC 29210 or online at www.cancer.org. Woodridge Funeral Home is assisting the family. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Cecilia Garrett, of Martinsburg W. VA; son, Cecil Cutrer, of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Carolyn Wignes, of Columbia, SC and Georgene Gable of Leesville, SC; brother, Julian Dannis Blake of Blythewood, SC; grandchildren, Carissa Cutrer, Ashton Cutrer, Dylan Cutrer and Aiden Cutrer. She was predeceased by her father, Julian R. Blake and her brother, Paul R. Blake. Ms. Miles was a beautician who recently retired and relocated from Arizona to the Columbia area to care for her ill mother.
