Obituary of Betty Lou Frick

Betty Lou Frick, 72, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2024, at Lexington Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in 1951 to the late Herman and Margaret Peavy. Betty worked for eighteen plus years as the Manager/General Manager of Stepping Stones Ministry Thrift Store operations. Betty served her community through her dedication to the SSM, many times at a huge personal sacrifice. She had an enormous impact on the lives of the residents over the years. She was also a member of the SSM Board of Directors which guides the ministry.

Betty leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Christina (Brian) Foxworth; granddaughter, Megan Foxworth; siblings, Pat (Mac) Mclean, Ruby Peavy, Tommy (Carolyn) Peavy; and brother-in-law, Clay Hooper, as well as many more loving family members, including her longtime friend, Sally Stypczynski.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H Frick, Jr.; siblings, baby, John Peavy, Margaret Rabon, Alberta Jeffcoat and Pearl Hooper, and her nephews, Danny and Ronnie Nates and Caleb Browder; and niece Kinsley Mclean.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 10, 2024, at North Side Baptist Church -West Campus, 742 Kitti Wake Drive, Lexington, SC 29170. The family will greet guests after the service. There will be a jewelry table for anyone who would like to take a memento.
