Obituary of Joyce Sharpe

Joyce Violet Sharpe was born July 8, 1930, and on September 30, 2022, she left this world to join the Lord and become another angel. Mama/Granny will be dearly missed and remembered for the love of her family.

She is survived by her sons, David Sharpe (Linda) of Irmo, Wayne Sharpe (Georgia) of Gilbert; daughters, Lillian Jacob of Leesville, Sharon Hammond of Lexington, Rhonda Sharpe of Alabama and Cindy Sharpe (Bobby) of Saluda; 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; sister, Joan Carter of Columbia; 2 sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, James D. Sharpe, her daughter, 3 sisters, her brother and a granddaughter.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the Lakeside Gazebo of Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072.
