Lexington, South Carolina - A funeral service for Bobby Hendrick Fenegan, 88, of Lexington, will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Mausoleum Chapel of Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington. Pastor Dan Williams will officiate. Entombment in the Woodridge Mausoleum will follow the service. The family will greet friends beginning at 2:00 PM prior to the service in the Mausoleum Chapel.
Bob Fenegan entered his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at his home. Born in Conway, SC, he was a son of the late Luther and Cecile Hendrick Fenegan. Bob was a graduate of Wampee/Little River High School, and attended the University of South Carolina prior to his being drafted into the US Army in his senior year. He served his country as a Medic in Germany. Upon returning to the US, Bob met and married his future wife, Gloria James. The couple established a business, Duplicating Products, Inc. and raised their children in a loving home. Bob was a member of Lexington Baptist Church, where he served on several committees. Bob was a member of the Lion's Club, the Gideons, and the Masons. Bob loved to travel; his family has traveled around the world.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Gloria James Fenegan; son, Timothy R. Fenegan (Amy) of Lexington; daughter, Kelli Fenegan Conner (Shane) of Lexington; grandchildren, Kellan Fenegan, Graci Conner, Fenegan Conner, Gabriel Conner, all of Lexington; nephews, Ronnie, Tommy and Patrick Bellamy of North Myrtle Beach, SC. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his sister, Peggy F. Bellamy of North Myrtle Beach.
