Obituary of Dargan Joseph Weaver

Dargan Joseph Weaver, 72, of Cayce, SC passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning January 4, 2012 at Agape Senior Care in West Columbia. Born July 3, 1939 in Richland County, SC he was the son of the late Perry M. and Hanna F. (Halloman) Weaver. Dargan was a plumber by trade for many years and proudly served his country in the South Carolina National Guard for over nine years. Survivors include his son Darwin J. (Ginger) Weaver; four sisters Meria W. McCormack, Jessie L. Smith, A. Faye Collins and Brenda Dale Klicka. Dargan is also survived by his two grandchildren Ariel L. and Dargan J. Weaver. A memorial service to celebrate Dargan?s life will take place on Wednesday evening January 18, 2012 at 6 P.M. in the Whaley Street United Methodist Church 515 Whaley Street, Columbia SC. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Dargan?s memory to the Whaley Street United Methodist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Woodridge Funeral Home Lexington; SC.
