Obituary of Gladys Dale Brown

Gladys ?Dale? Frick Brown, 86, of Columbia, died on April 8, 2012. She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Kenneth Brown; three children, Donna (Jim) Nunamaker, Kerry (Frances) Brown and Connie (Hugh) Davis; five grandchildren, Renee (John), Robert (Alan), Jennifer (Andy), Bert (Marie), Kerry (Brett); six great grandchildren, Amber, Taylor, Brandon, Owen, Jack and Ada; three sisters, Stella Cotney, Mozelle McKay and Olive (Pickle) Gruber. Gladys is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Horace and Bessie Frick and two sisters Evelyn Hawkins and Frances Hamrick. She retired from Richland County Family Court after thirty years of service. Her creativity will live on in her many beautiful paintings. The love she shared with her family will live on in their hearts forever. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday April 11, 2012 at 12 P.M. in Redeemer Lutheran Church, 525 St. Andrews Road Columbia, SC. A visitation to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will take place 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place following the service at Woodridge Memorial Park. Memorials can be made in Gladys memory to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
