Obituary of Carole J Bowers

Carole J. Bowers, 73, of West Columbia, SC passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at her home. Born October 1, 1938 in Anderson County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Z.F. Jaynes and Ruby Meeks Jaynes. She was the former owner of C.J. ?s Used Cars and owned C.J.?s Handy Mart. Carole was predeceased by her son Scott Bowers. Survivors include her three sisters Frances Jaynes of Saluda, SC, Mildred Sammons of Anderson, SC and Jo Ellen Hayes of Anderson, SC; grandchildren Wilder Bowers and Brooke Bowers and great grandchildren Jaylen Bowers and Tayeson Bowers. A visitation will take place on Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 2-3 P.M. in Woodridge Funeral Home 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington. Funeral services will follow at 3 P.M. at the Woodridge Memorial Park Gazebo Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodridge Memorial Park.
