Obituary of Geraldine B Mittendorf

Geraldine Mittendorf, 84, of West Columbia passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 1, 2012. A graveside service will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Woodridge Memorial Park 138 Corley Mill Road Lexington. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home of Arthur ?Chet? Mittendorf, 1836 Old Orangeburg Road, Lexington. Born August 24, 1927 in Brunswick, GA and raised on St. Simons Island, GA. Geraldine was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur of over 50 years. She was a member of Platt Springs United Methodist Church and in the past had a ceramic shop and was known for her beautiful cross stitching. Geraldine will be forever remembered by her devoted Sisters Elsie Kalcos and Mary Eason; Brother Marion Bunkley; Brother-in-Law Peter Kalcos; beloved children Arthur ?Chet? and Darlene Mittendorf, Sherry and Bill Walton and Allen Mittendorf; treasured grandchildren Todd and Eve Mittendorf, Tim Mittendorf and Stephanie Mittendorf and beloved great grandchildren Amber Mittendorf Puza and her husband Jonathan Puza and Taylor Mittendorf.
