Obituary of Janet Lee

Janet G. Lee, 74, widow of Marvin Lee, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012. Born in Logan, WV, she was a daughter of the late Robert Sperry and Virginia Mahone Sperry Mikus. Janet was a care giver and a dedicated registered nurse. She retired from the Colleton County Regional Hospital in Walterboro, SC. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Walterboro. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt and grandmother. Janet had a passion for life and cared deeply for dogs and cats. She loved all of her friends at AHEPA II. Special thanks to Lexington Medical Center Extended Care and a very special thanks to Hospice Care of Tri County. She will be missed deeply by all of those that she shared her life with and for. Surviving is her son, Walter R. Anderson Sr. and Melanie W. Anderson of Lexington; sisters, Betty Lareau (Paul) of Chapin and Barbara Hutto (Gerald) of Hanahan; brother, Donald Mikus of Chapmanville, WV; grandchildren, Walter R. Anderson, Jr. of Lexington, Billy H. Smith, Jr. of Cayce and Whitney S. Stroud of Lexington. A celebration of Life service will take place at Woodridge Funeral Home at a later date.
