I haven't seen Jr. for quite some time that's just the way life is sometimes. But even though I haven't seen him I still and always will think of him and smile. He was a fun little kid and I am so proud to have known him. Wish I could be there today to give you all a hug. I love you all and send you my thoughts and prayers.

Jr and I would torture our younger brother John. For instance John had been pestering us so we tied him to a tree and the fire ants got him! We laughed so hard until mama came out untied John then she tore our butts up! Yes Jr had a weird sense of humor but he was great brother, frgiend and I so will miss him! Jr until we meet again I love you fly high my brother!!!

My heart-felt sympathy to the Herr Family. I was lucky enough to work with Dennis at NCR early in his career and again recently when he joined Unitrends. Dennis was always upbeat, put a smile on your face and yes had a unique sense of humor. During his short tenure at Unitrends, he won the respected and admiration of his peers and managers alike. Customers raved about the support he provided in daily survey results. Personally, I have missed meeting him in the mornings, talking about some of our mutual friends, electronic gadgets, the piranha puppy, and how his Dad, Dennis Sr. was doing.
I pray for comfort and God's peace and healing for all friends and family members.
He is already missed, but his upbeat nature is one I will strive to emulate.

I worked with Dennis at Intel. He was such a happy guy with a great attitude! He was helpful, kind, respectful, and just a caring person. I enjoyed working with him both as a colleague and as a friend. He will be missed.

Dennis was one of our technicians in the graphics validation group at Intel. He was truly one of a kind. We had a lot of good times going out to lunch, going to goodwill on $1 day, and sitting around the break room having french press coffee. Dennis didn't drink coffee, but he would sit around the table and chit chat with a group of us while we enjoyed our coffee. He was outgoing, thoughtful, and giving. I am so happy that we were able to meet up a few months ago for lunch at Jalisco's. He will be sorely missed!! To Dennis Herr Sr. - he 0talked about you a lot. One story that stuck with me is how you made your coffee while you were a drill sergeant at Ft. Jackson. Reusing the coffee as your water for the next pot! We always got a good laugh about that. I served in the US Army as well and remember those drill sergeant days very well. He shared those pictures from his recent visit up to the Dillard House with you too. I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your son made a positive impact on so many people in this world. May God bless you and your family during this difficult time. Sincerely, Greg Beckwith

Worked with Dennis at NCR in West Columbia and we have stayed in touch. Will miss him so much. He got a group of us together this past Oct. So glad I was able to make it. Will cherish the times, laughs and hugs forever. We chatted on messenger, he could always make me laugh when I really needed it and even if I didn't. . RIP my sweet, friend....you were the best. To the Herr family, I am praying that y'all find comfort and peace through your faith.

There are few words that can describe the emotions of last week. Wednesday's news was that which no teammate, colleague, or leader ever wants to hear or deliver. I know that I was not prepared for the news I received and certainly not prepared to deliver it to a team of individuals for whom I have such high regard.
The impact that Dennis had on each of us is everlasting. His friendliness, dry sense of humor, caring nature, sincerity, and team spirit were infectious and made him an instant and authentic friend to all of us. And while those very traits make this tough, those same traits will help and comfort us through this journey.
Thank you, Dennis!
