Bridgette Marriott posted a condolence

~♡♡My aunt took care of me when life at home became to toxic. She took me in and loved me as one of her own. Many of my favorite memories were when she would dress me up and take pictures, teaching me how to drive in the driveway only, sharing cokes and chocolate way after bedtime, getting my ears pierced, and getting Teen Bop magazine only to later put my favorite crushes on my wall. I mean Kirk Cameron, Michael J. Fox, and Duran Duran never looked so good than on the wall of my own bedroom she made just for me.
I strive every day to be like Aunt Marilyn. Even though miles and miles kept us apart, I know she is with me along with my grandparents. Especially as I fight against a rare disease all my own. I really didn't know her as I should have, especially once I became an adult. I pray that I live a life that she'd be proud of.
She would have been a grandma this year and I know she would have been a good one. I believe she's looking down from heaven with a big smile and protecting us all. We will miss that smile, laugh, red hair, and her hugs. Until we see you again Aunt Marilyn, we honor your life and will remember you always.
Scott, Brittany, Lauren, Sarah, and I, love you Aunt Marilyn, Uncle Richard, Brian, and Adam. We are praying for everyone and may God bless you. We are here for you always. Love, Bridgett "Kirk" Marriott ♡♡~
