Dora was ten years younger than me. I was away to school most of the time while she was growing up, but when I was home we used to argue quite a bit. I'm not sure why, but probably it was because I tried to boss her and she was having none of that. Since I was her older brother and she was ten years younger, I thought she should do as I said. Later, after I was married and had done my time in the army, we enjoyed our time together.
I used to swing Dora and her girlfriend around and around by their arms and they got a big kick out of that. She sang in a youth choir Pat and I conducted. I was Pathfinder leader for the church where we did progressive classwork, learned to do crafts, memorized scriptures, played soccer, marched, took camping trips and other fun things. I enjoyed having Dora in Pathfinders with me.
Unfortunately, my work kept me far away from home and we didn't get to be together very much, but we loved each other and visited as often as we could. I miss her and hope to be able to make up for lost time in the earth made new. Her brother, Bob.

Besides sharing family, we shared many holidays together with our children. Dora was always sweet and smiling and eager to pitch in to make our times together fun and memorable. Have missed her sweet persona for a long time. RIP Dora
