Obituary of Amanda R. Krofchick

Our beloved daughter, Amanda Rachel Krofchick, has peacefully left for her heavenly home and new body, surrounded by her devoted family at Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, SC. Amanda was born December 23, 1987 and passed away January 24, 2018. She was predeceased by her sister, Bobbi Jo Krofchick; aunt, Felicia Holden; and uncle, Donald Holden. She is survived by her parents, Dan and Regina Holden Krofchick of Hopkins, SC; her brother, Steve Krofchick of Elgin, SC; her brother, Eric Bassett and fiancé, Meaghan Buck of Little Mountain, SC; and Wendy Grimwood of Hopkins, SC. Wendy was Amanda's home health nurse and 'other mother' for over 10 years. Also surviving are her only living grandparents, Charles and Margaret Holden of Arden, NC; many uncles, aunts, cousins, loved ones and friends who will miss her truly. Our family would also like to thank the many teachers, nurses, and therapists of Richland One School District of Columbia, SC, her many caregivers, and especially the doctors and nurses at Palmetto Richland, Palmetto Baptist and Lexington Medical Center for their unwavering care and love given to our precious daughter over the years. Also Doctors Deborah Greenhouse and Brian Cline for their impeccable care and concern; Family Connections of SC; Disabilities and Special Needs Board for the many services they provided, and anyone else who was a part of Amanda Panda's blessed life.
