Obituary of Thomas Howard Yon

Thomas Howard Yon, 72, of Swansea, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Born on October 14, 1945 in Salley, SC. Thomas was a son of the late Jessie Lee Yon and Lessie Smith Yon. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Doris Ann Stalvey Yon; a son, Christopher (Angela) Yon of Swansea; two step sons, Kenneth Sharpe of Swansea, and Robert Sharpe of Columbia; grandchildren, Brittany Yon of West Columbia, Seth Yon of Swansea,Hope Sharpe of Cincinnati, Ohio, Shawn Sharpe, and Dustin Sharpe; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 1 p.m. in Melrose Cemetery in Swansea. Woodridge Memorial Park and Funeral Home is assisting the family.
