Obituary of Sharon Marie Sublett

Sharon Marie Sublett passed away suddenly on September 6, 2017. She was born at an Army hospital in Heidelberg, Germany on July 16, 1957. Her parents were Bradley Campbell, Jr. and Marilyn Pellinen Campbell. She spent her younger years in West Columbia. A graveside service was held on September 9th in Woodridge Memorial Park in Lexington. She volunteered as a "candystriper" where she met her husband to be, Mack Hamiter. They were married in 1975 and resided in Lexington, SC. She used to enjoy horseback riding in the neighborhood, and boating on Lake Murray. She was employed at a bank and then went to work for the State, at DHEC (Dept of Health and Environmental Control). She excelled at her work there. In 1993 she married her second husband, Robert Sublett and moved to West Columbia. She resided in Lugoff, SC for less than a year. She had a great love for animals of all kinds, even having a pet squirrel at one time, but mostly it was dogs and cats. She enjoyed watching Classic Movies on TV and "Gone with the Wind" was her all-time favorite. She was a kind and gentle soul and loved giving gifts to those she loved. She thought of others first. She is survived by her children David Hamiter of Columbia and Jennifer Hamiter of Lexington, SC. and her mother Marilyn Pellinen Campbell, who resides in Minnesota. Also by her grandchildren Bradley and Cian, a half-brother David Campbell and two step brothers, "Chuck" and Mike Campbell, and loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She will be greatly missed. Preceding her in death are her first husband and the father of her children, Mack Hamiter and her step mother Shirley Campbell.
