Obituary of Holliday P. Broom

Holliday P. Broom (Holly) will suffer no more and was called home while surrounded by her family on Thursday September 21, 2017. Holliday was survived by her daughter Ashley Holliday Broom Craps and son in law Justin Craps, 2 grandchildren Eric Craps and Haley Craps; her brother William Wesley Porterfield, Jr. and sister-in-law Ann Porterfield; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by both parents, her sister Mellany Shumate and son William Broom. Holliday (Holly) was retired from Bellsouth where she worked in customer service for 22 years and was an active member of the Bellsouth Pioneers. She spent her life caring for her family and dear friends. She was a kind beautiful soul and will be dearly missed by all. May you now breathe easy May the sun shine on your face And may your soul rise to the Heavens above To watch over us and smile down knowing We are ok because you made us this way. The family will gather at her home for mourning and celebration over the weekend. Flowers and such may be sent to Holliday's home.
