Obituary of Joan N Crossland

Pelion - Surrounded by her loved ones, Joan N. Crossland of Pelion was called home Thursday, September 14, 2017. She was 81 years old. Mrs. Crossland was the wife of the late Vernon J. Crossland, Sr. and the mother of the late Vernon J. Crossland, Jr. A daughter of the late Nina and Clarence Niendorf, Joan was born June 21, 1936 in Layport, Indiana. She is survived by her daughters, Carrie Glenn of Pelion and Carolyn Williamson of West Columbia; grandchildren Jerri Lishka of Pelion, Sherry Gantt of West Columbia, Amanda Jones of Leesville, Melissa Avants of Charleston, Jerome Crossland of Spartanburg and Julie Monaco of Lexington. She also leaves behind 18 great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
