Obituary of Camille O. Pound

Columbia - Camille O. Pound. Private graveside services for Camille O. Pound, 89, of Columbia were held Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Woodridge Memorial Park in Lexington. Pastor Jeremiah Thomas presided. The family entrusted Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington with Mrs. Pound's arrangements. Mrs. Pound entered into rest July 7, 2017. Born in Wilmington, NC, on February 8, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Adolf and Annie Pauline Batchelor Otersen. Camille was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be remembered as very kind and generous to all who knew her. She was a member of Centennial ARP Church and was very strong in her Christian faith. Camille is survived by daughters, Susan P. Boles of Irmo, SC and Deborah P. Stokes of Lexington, SC; son, Dr. Daniel Pound of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren, Melissa B. McAllister and Carrie B. Patterson; great-grandson, Grahame McAllister. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Claude R. Pound. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Centennial ARP Church, 1413 Laurel Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
