Obituary of Jason Corey Hoover

Mr. Jason Corey Hoover, 38, of Hartsville passed away suddenly on Monday, July 3, 2017. Jason was born on October 21, 1978 in West Columbia, SC to Katherine Laster Hoover and Danny Hoover. Jason was saved in June, 2008. Jason graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2010, with a degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, and Political Science. He loved his children dearly and his greatest love was the USC Gamecocks. He was a loving son, brother, and father. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Kevin Laster Sr. and grandmother, Christine Laster. Surviving is his mother Katherine Hoover, his daughters; Alexandria Hoover of Drexel, NC, Morgen Hoover of Boiling Spring, SC, and Kori Hoover of Hartsville, SC, and one son Jason Hoover II of Boiling Springs, SC. Also surviving are his siblings; Jessica Hoover of Gaston, SC, Lisa Hoover of Columbia, SC, and one brother Austin Thornton of Miami, Florida, a grandfather Patrick Laster Sr. of Lexington, SC, and a number of cousins. A memorial service for Jason Corey Hoover will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday July 9, 2017 at Woodridge Memorial Park Gazebo, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072
