Obituary of Kay Reardon

Kay Reardon, loving mother, daughter and sister, passed away July 2, 2017 at the age of 59. Her legacy followed that which Georgia O'Keefe once wrote, "I want real things-live people to take hold of-to see- and talk to-Music that makes holes in the sky." Her professional path included work at Lexington Medical, as a realtor, and as an artist. Her true vocation, however was her ability to build community and to make a positive impact on all those who surrounded. Through her we saw daily a demonstration of loving people, flowing to all without exception. She is survived by her son, Joseph; father and mother, Lenzy Russell and Lucille Lewis of Charleston; three sisters, Karan Lewis, Kathy Schnurr and Kim Lewis. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Woodridge Memorial Park at 4pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Free Medical Clinic, Harvest Hope or Saluda Shoals Park.
