Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Powell

POWELL - Mary Elizabeth Watters Powell, 98 of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away on June 15, 2017 at Agape House of Lexington. She was born on May 15, 1919 to Joe and Lavada (Stephens) Watters in Whitley City, McCreary County, Kentucky. Mary loved dogs, shopping and traveling to vacation locations. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Claude Powell, two sisters Clara (Watters) Bryant, Myrtle (Watters) Chitwood, , three brothers Butler Watters, Les Watters, Zachary Watters, two niece's Sara (Horne) Collis, Laurel (Haff) DuBose and one nephew Buster Horne. Mary had no children of her own, however she is survived by her sister Sue (Watters) Haff of West Columbia, SC, four niece's Lessie Burton of Decatur, TN, Marcia A Daniell of Orlando, FL, Lillian Gay Haff of Columbia, SC, and Bonnie Michels of West Columbia, SC.
