Obituary of Janet Lorraine Neblo

Blythewood - Graveside services for Janet L. Neblo, 89, of Blythewood, and formerly of Cayce, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington. Pastor Joe Copeland will officiate. The family will greet friends after the graveside service. Mrs. Neblo passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at her residence with her family at her side. Born in Orange, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Robert Stanley Williamson and Julia Bal. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed baking, sewing and caring for her large family. She was an avid fan of Walt Disney World, and visited the park often. She was of the Episcopal faith, and had attended All Saints Episcopal Church. Janet is survived by her 10 children, daughters, Karen Labby, Kathy Wagner, Donna Thorpe (Larry), Gwen Altman, Mary Lou McCarter (Bill), Nancy Pace (Elliott), Susan Coughlin (Bob), Barbara Tharpe (Randy); sons, Gordon Neblo , Stephen Neblo (Destiny); many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Janet was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Burton J. Neblo, Sr.; son, Burton J.
