Obituary of Lorraine S. Harmon

PELION - Lorraine S. Harmon - Family and friends will gather to remember and celebrate the life of Lorraine S. Harmon from 4:00 - 6:00 PM, Monday, March 13, 2017, at Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington. Mrs. Harmon, 74, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at her residence with her family at her side. Born in Glen Cove, New York, she was a daughter of the late Janet Flynn. Lorraine was a loving foster mother to many. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Harmon (Christy Melow Harmon) of Pelion; daughter, Janet Stratton, of Rocky Mount, VA; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Horstmann (Paul), of Brookhaven, NY, and Laura Hackenworth of Alabama. In addition to her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by a brother, Allan Flynn. The family would like to thank April Campbell and family for their loving care and assistance of Lorraine.
