Gaston - John William Justus. Funeral services for John William Justus, 80, of Gaston, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 24, 2016 at the Gazebo at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington. Pastor Harry Robinson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, December 23, 2016 at Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington. Mr. Justus passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his residence, with his family by his side. Born in Bowman, SC, he was a son of the late Harvey Jordan and Sophie Elizabeth Easterlin Justus. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who was dedicated to home and family. John is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Sandra Gail Craft Justus; daughters, Emily May Justus-Shears (Milton), Cristy Michele Yeargin, Misty Renee Dunning (Gerald); 4 grandchildren, Bradley Yeargin, Noelle Broughton, Theron Justus-Shears, Malayla McCommon; 2 brothers, Everette Justus (Marion), Bobby Justus (Rebecca); a sister, Martha Pound. The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of Amedysis Hospice for their loving care of John. The family expresses their gratitude to each of the pallbearers for their time and service.
