Obituary of Dale Jennings Aspnes

IN LOVING MEMORY OF OUR FATHER DALE JENNINGS ASPNES Dale Jennings Aspnes was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on July 26, 1938. He left us to be with our Lord Jesus on November 27, 2016. He was 78 years old. Dale passed away at his home with his loved ones. He did it his way; he left this world the way he wanted. After completing high school,Dale in-listed and served his country in the Navy in April, 1956. He then went on to get a Master's Degree in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. Dale specialized with a Certification in Automotive Maintenance and Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. Dale worked hard his whole life, first to help his parents because he was one of six siblings. Later to provide for his own family, he was a dedicated loving husband and father. Dale J. Aspnes was a wonderful Christian man. Dale was happily married for thirty-two years to his loving wife, Grace,who preceded him in death by two years. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Our memories of our father, Dale, will be cherished forever. We loved him so much. He leaves behind these loved ones: Daughter- Anita Gundega Neff, Grandson-Damien Neff, Son- Chris Talis Aspnes, Grandchildren: Jeremy Scott Aspnes and Katrina Christenson (Kyle) and Great-Grandchildren: Logan, Kendal, un-born Corbin. Stepdaughter- Tammy Berlene Haley, Grandchild: Chelia Berlene Hutchings (Ranger), Great-Grandchildren- Layla and Connor. Grandchild: Alex Witt (Madolyn), Great-Grandchild- Alex Jr. Stepson- Thomas Ross Haley, Stepdaughter-Judy O'Neal Williams (Joe), Great-Grandson-Joseph. Dale also leaves behind three sisters and one brother, Ronnie Aspnes, Linda Aspnes Davidson, Camilla Aspnes Patrick and Candace Ann Aspnes Cavender. There are also numerous extended family members and friends left behind that will miss him dearly. "For none of lives to himself and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live whether we die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living." Romans 14: 7-9
