Obituary of Arly D. Keel

Arly D. Keel, 83, of Columbia, SC passed away November 20, 2016 at Brookdale of Columbia, SC. He was born on January 3, 1933 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Rhue Keel and Myrtle Dudley Keel. Arly was a proud United States Army veteran with 25 years of faithful and honorable service. Retiring as a Master Sergeant, Arly was a highly decorated soldier. He earned the Bronze Star, the Army Commendation Medal, the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm, The Vietnam Campaign Medal as well as the Korean Defense and National Defense Medals. Arly's dedication to his country and to those around him were unmatched. An only child, he was preceded in death by his beloved parents. Graveside funeral services will be at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC on Monday December 5, 2016 at 3:00 PM with full military honors. .
