Obituary of Kay Frances Milhouse Kester

Kay Frances Milhouse Kester West Columbia- Kay Frances Milhouse Kester, 81, of West Columbia, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016. Born December 10, 1934, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late George Olonza Milhouse and Daisy Odell Nettles Milhouse. She married the late Carroll Little Kester, on November 27, 1955. She is survived by a son, Anthony "Tony" Carroll Kester (Rita) of Columbia; grandchildren, Elliott Paul Kester, of Summerville, and Stephen Carroll Kester (Kelsey), of Woodruff; brothers, Billy Crawford Milhouse (Linda) and Ronald "Ronnie" D. Milhouse (Pat) both of Orangeburg. She was preceded in death by brothers, Colie Alonza Milhouse (Virginia Ada), Lawerence E. Milhouse, George Basil Milhouse (Ramona), Luther "Sonny" Calvin Milhouse (Marion), and Robert "Bobby" Zeb Milhouse (Dorothy); sisters, Laura Leona Milhouse Downs (Wilbur), Odean "Deanie" Milhouse Proveaux (Jackson Willis), and Mary Milhouse Shuler Trapnell. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Woodridge Funeral Home, 138 Corley Mill Rd, Lexington, SC 29072, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1500 Sunset Blvd., West Columbia, SC 29169, or to the charity of one's choice.
