Obituary of Edward W. Hawkins

Edward W. "Billy" Hawkins, 84, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away September 21, 2016 at Columbia, South Carolina. He was born on November 2, 1931 in Longview, Texas the late Edward and Vera (Crawford) Hawkins. A proud US Air Force Veteran with over 20 years of faithful and honorable Service, Billy was a diehard Dallas Cowboy and Texas University Fan, a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He will be sadly missed by those he loved and those that loved him. Billy is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Jean (Parker) Hawkins of Columbia SC, two daughters: Sharon Hockings of Columbia, SC, Kim Hawkins of Belton TX, grandchildren: Natalea Koehn (Toby), Trevor Houston (Rachel), great grandchildren: Skylee Houston, Henry Koehn, Laney Houston and Reid Houston. He also leaves behind a brother: Charles Hawkins. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Jeanne Ladd and Betty Masem.
