Obituary of Charles Malcom Derrick

Charles Malcom Derrick, Jr., 73, of Lexington, husband of Theresa Rena Derrick passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at National Healthcare West Columbia. He was born on June 22, 1943 in Columbia, to the late Charles M. Derrick Sr. and Edith Modine Welch Derrick. Charles retired from the United States Air Force and later from Harsco Track . He loved to go fishing and hunting. In addition to his wife of 50 years. He is survived by a son, Charles M. Derrick III ( Angela); a sister, Nancy Jean Robins (John), five grandchildren, Charles M. Derrick IV (Mikey), Kay Reynolds, Nicollette Presley (Jimmy), Raven Siroky, and John Goodner; one great-grandchild, Madalee Presley and many cousins. Prayers sent to the family and friends. The pain is gone: he is finally at peace in heaven as he should be. Now he is with his beloved mother and brother. Rest in peace, you will be missed. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Shephard Church of the Nazarene, 119 Ball Park Rd. Lexington SC 29072.
