Obituary of Steve Rinehart

Robert “Steve” Rinehart – Chapin – Funeral services, with USAF Military honors, for Robert “Steve” Rinehart, 83, of Chapin, will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the Mausoleum Chapel of Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington. Woodridge Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Steve Rinehart passed away May 8, 2021. Born in Newberry, SC, he was a son of the late Ray Rinehart and Corrine Rinehart.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Rinehart; daughters, Laurie Swygert, Kim Mindel (Mark), Sammie Carpenter; son, Troy Stephens (Venus); grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, James Rinehart (Elaine); sister, Kathleen Ellisor. In addition to his parents, Steve was predeceased by his son, Craig Rinehart; brother, Bennie Ellisor.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
