Obituary of Betty Snelgrove Glaze

NEW ELLENTON SC - BETTY SNELGROVE GLAZE, 83, beloved wife of the late Willis Lester Glaze, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. A native of Lexington County, SC, Betty was a daughter of the late John W. Snelgrove and Eileen K. Snelgrove. She lived in Lexington until moving to New Ellenton in 1992. Survivors include her son, Barry Kraft (Sybil), West Columbia, SC, daughter, Wendy Grigsby (Robert), New Ellenton, SC; four grandchildren, Paul B. Kraft (Lori), Bluffton, SC, Steven T. Kraft, West Columbia, SC, James R. Grigsby (Simone), Windsor, SC, and Sam G. Grigsby (Mallory), Aiken, SC; two great grandsons, Kane Maas, Windsor SC, and Caleb McCall Kraft, Bluffton, SC; one sister, Dianne S. Myers (Dempsey), Summerville SC; two brothers, Jimmy Snelgrove (Tamra), Orange Park, FL, Bob Snelgrove (Barbara), Round O, SC and her sweet friend who was like a daughter, Brenda Hunter. Betty loved her family more than anything. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her brothers, J.C. Snelgrove and Joe Snelgrove. A special thank you to Dr. Leo Muniz and the staff of Regency Hospice for all their love, care and support. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Woodridge Memorial Park Gazebo in Lexington, SC. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 10:00 am until 10:45 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
