Obituary of Frances C. Bright

Frances C. Bright, 75, of West Columbia, SC, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016, in her home surrounded by her family and loved ones. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, May 9, 2016, at Edmund First Baptist Church in Lexington, SC. Pastor Johnny Slice will officiate. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM Monday, at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens in West Columbia. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington assisted the family. Frances leaves behind her three daughters; Ann (Lynn) Stewart, Kathy Bright (Steve Speaks), Jackie Hutchins (David); three grandchildren, Amanda Whitney (John Bodie), Josh Hutchins, Kim Havens (Doug); five great-grandchildren, Jordan, Lexi and Ayden Whitney, Ashley Hutchins and Airalynn Havens; sister, Carrie Steele; two brothers, Walter Wheeler and Tony Wheeler. She loved them all dearly. She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband of 58 years, David Bright; parents, Charles and Pansy Wheeler; sister, Pauline Pindar; brother, Charlie Wheeler; nephew, Robbie Wheeler and great-grandson, Peyton Whitney. Frances was a member of Edmund First Baptist Church. She was a strong woman with strong beliefs in her faith in God and family. She will be greatly missed beyond measure!
