Bonnie, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. She was a real sweet lady. She was always nice to me, we had nice visits when she came to see Clara. I know you will miss her so much. Hope you and Barry are doing well.

Bertie, You're the best Mother-in-Law a man could ask for, "Truly"! You make me feel like I'm your own Son. You made it Suck to tell all those Mother-in-Law Jokes! (I know that made you laugh). You are a dear and loving Mama as Bonnie will attest to. You will always and forever be your Granddaughters "Nena" and your Great Grand-kids will lighten up with smiles to hear their Mommies tell them beautiful and silly stories about you. You are forever in our hearts and we will think of you everyday. But then you already knew all this!
Love You Forever,
Your Kids
Barry and Bonnie

I will never forget first meeting Bertie what seems like many, many, years ago. She and George sang in a small lounge in our area. Her beauty was absolutely stunning and she had such class. She and George were a fixture in our community and such fun to be with. George I hope to keep seeing you and hearing your jokes and Bertie, I know you are singing for us all. Love, Teresa Grissom

So many memories to share. How do you pin point them down to one or two. A life time of laughter and a few tears along the way. Aunt Bertie you are a loving soul that I only wish I had spent more time with. I remember coming to visit you in Mississippi, the shagging lessons, the hair cuts, hanging out in the game room shooting pool and playing darts. while you and mama had your visits. coming out and playing the juke box with me. I love you to the moon and back. I know your in heaven with all of our loved ones, give them lots of love for us here till we see all of you again.

Aunt Bertie, you would light up any room you walked into! You are one beautiful lady inside and out! You were the best Aunt that any niece could ask for. I only wish that I could've had just one more cup of coffee and to hear your laughter just one more time. You taught me so much in my life and for I thank you with all my heart! I love you Aunt Bertie and I WILL see you again, so this is not goodbye, this is a see you later! Until I see you again! Loving you all the way to the angels, Rena xo
