Obituary of Constance Patten Collum

Constance "Connie" Patten Collum - Columbia - Graveside services for Constance P. Collum, 88, of Columbia will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, April 4, 2016 in Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington. Pastor Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will greet friends from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Woodridge Funeral Home. Connie Collum passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at her residence, surrounded by her loving children. Born in Jacksonville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Willie Buck and Lessie Mae Petteway Patten. She was a loving and selfless wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children; sons, Lloyd W. Collum (Ann) of Columbia, Charles R. Collum (Andrea) of Elgin, daughters, Constance "Connie" Ruse of Bradenton, FL, Deborah Ostrander (Charles) of Ft. Myers, FL; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Patten; sister-in-law, Geraldine Patten, both of Jacksonville, NC. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, Harold S. Collum.
