Obituary of Arthur Edward Andrews

Arthur Edward Andrews Jr., 71, of Leesville, South Carolina, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at his home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Wojciechowski Funeral Home of Glassport, PA on Saturday, September 12, 2015. Inurnment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1201 Grandview Avenue, McKeesport, PA. Mr. Andrews was born in McKeesport, PA to Arthur Edward Andrews, Sr. and Christine Janci Andrews. Arthur graduated from Glassport Senior High School in 1962. Arthur and his wife, Carol Lippert Andrews, retired to Leesville, South Carolina in 2011. Mr. Andrews was a master of many trades including woodworking, automotive repair, electronics, and computers. He loved projects of any kind, gardening, cooking and baking for his family. Mr. Andrews worked at Bucyrus-Erie Foundry until its closing. He then worked as a director of maintenance in several senior care homes until his retirement in 2006. Surviving is his wife of 50 years, Carol Lippert Andrews; five children: Robin (Frank) Spaniel, Arthur Edward Andrews III, Heather (John) Nagy, Melissa (Joe) Scholl, Brian (Amy) Andrews; eight grandchildren, his brother Larry Arthur Andrews and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Darlene Christine Ball.
