Obituary of Thomas Edward Carney

Columbia - Thomas Edward Carney - A Celebration of Life service for Thomas Edward Carney, 96, of Columbia, will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, August 21, 2015 at Columbia First Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 243 Riverchase Way, Lexington, SC 29073. Pastor Jason Belyeu will officiate. The family will greet friends from 2:00 - 2:30 PM Friday, prior to the service at the church. Interment with military honors will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. Mr. Carney passed away at home surrounded by his family on August 17, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Beulah Martin Carney; daughter, Irene C. McLaughlin (Jim) of Orlando, FL; 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. Memorials may be made to Columbia First Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
