Noah "Pops" Earl Ruff
WEST COLUMBIA - Noah "Pops" Earl Ruff, 66, died July 7th, 2015, at the oncology floor of Lexington Medical Center. Born December 24, 1948, in Columbia, he was the son of the late James Herman and Nancy Lucille Ruff. He was a graduate of Airport High School and served in the United States Army in Vietnam. Noah worked for thirty plus years with South Carolina National Bank and then Wachovia Bank before retiring as a vice president with Wells Fargo. Noah was affectionately known by many as just "Pops" and by his grandchildren as "Poppi".
He is survived by his wife, Erma Fetherol Ruff; son and daughter-in-law Jon and Anne-Marie Ruff of Irmo; his son and daughter-in-law Nic and Laurie Ruff of Irmo; his sister Youna Ruff of West Columbia; and four grandchildren Nate, Bryson, Olivia, and Harper Ruff.
A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 11th, 2015 at Woodridge Memorial Park & Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m until 11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
