Obituary of Judy Boozer Miller

Judy Boozer Miller, of Leesville, South Carolina passed away June 24, 2015. She was born in Prosperity, South Carolina to the late Harvey and Thelma Parnell Boozer. Judy enjoyed watching golf tournaments and loved the outdoors as well as swimming. She enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her cousins. She retired after 25 years of service from SCE&G VC Summer Station and most recently employed with the Department of Mental Health. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Jim Miller and her two sons, David (Laura) Thomas of LA and Joey (Marion) Thomas of Lexington. She also leaves her two grandchildren, Erin and Ashley Thomas. She is also survived by her loving dogs, Louise, Cleo and Herman. She will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her sister June R. Boozer and her brother Harvey E. Boozer, Jr. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 5-6PM at Woodridge Funeral Home, 138 Corley Rd. in Lexington. Services will be held at 6PM in the Mausoleum Chapel. Interment will be at a later date at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
