Obituary of Max Nunnery

Lexington - Max Nunnery - Graveside services for Max Nunnery, 85, of Lexington will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 8, 2015 at Woodridge Memorial Park. Pastor Mark Bredholt will officiate. Mr. Nunnery passed away Monday, May 4, 2015. Born in Merigold, MS, he was a son of the late Ed and Harriett Rushing Nunnery. Max served his country honorably in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict, serving aboard the USS Titania. He returned to the United States, and in 1952, married the love of his life, Dorothy Nunnery, with whom he shared 61 wonderful years. Max retired from Continental Insurance Company as an Executive Vice President, and President of the Agency Group, after 31 years of service. Max is survived by two children, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Max was predeceased by his wife, a son and a brother.
