Obituary of Yvonne Garrett

West Columbia - Yvonne Garrett, 76, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 6PM on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Lighthouse Baptist Church 325 Church Street South Congaree with the Reverend Jeff Bradley officiating. Yvonne was born on April 13, 1938 to the late Nida Bachette Oliver and Sam Caleb Oliver. She was the loving, life companion of 38 years to the late Bob Campbell. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and worked for many years as a printer for Colite Industries in West Columbia. In addition to her life companion, Bob Campbell, she was predeceased by her brothers, Lawrence Oliver and James Oliver; sisters, Jackie Coker and Ella Ree Coker; children, Paul Smith and Mark Garrett; and grandchild, Nikki. She is survived by her sister, Alva Jean Byrd (Jesse); children, Luther (Carolyn) Smith, Debra (Eric) Heinrich, Terry Gilpatrick and Ray Jordan; grandchildren, Brandon, Matthew, Jonathan (Lindsay), Amanda, Randy (Tara), Lisa, Christopher, Little Ray, Gina and Nathan; and numerous great-grandchildren and special Great granddaughter, Kelsey. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lighthouse Baptist Church, PO Box 85601 Lexington SC 29073 or to a charity of one's choice.
