Obituary of Addie Patricia Taylor

Addie Patricia (Patsy) Taylor, 62, of West Columbia, SC, passed away peacefully at her home Monday, October 6, 2014. Ms. Taylor was born on April 7, 1952 in Columbia SC to the late Robert C. Taylor and Evelyn (Scott) Taylor. Patsy was a dedicated Christian that had never met a stranger. She lived life on her own terms and was very content. When she was younger, she even convinced the neighborhood children to let her cut their hair. She was a mom to two girls, and a wonderful aunt to her neice and took exceptional care of her brother. Patsy enjoyed watching movies and wrestling and spent many hours crocheting blankets for her family. Patsy liked to listen to music from Elvis. She had a beautiful heart and loved her family with every piece of it. Ms. Taylor is survived by her two daughters; Kimberly Anderson and Rolanda Anderson, a sister; Shirley Clark of Lexington SC, and a brother; Robert C. Taylor, Jr., West Columbia SC. She is also survived by a very special neice; Robin Christina Thompson, and seven grandchildren. She also leaves behind her beloved chihuahua; Teeny. Graveside services will be at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170 on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 11 A.M. with Mark Bredholt officiating.
