Obituary of Thomas Rasmussen

A memorial service for Thomas "Tommy" Richard Rasmussen, 68, will be held at 12:00 PM Sunday, September 7, 2014, at the Mausoleum Chapel of Woodridge Memorial Gardens, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072. Woodridge Funeral Home is assisting the family. Tommy was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He attended Oklahoma University, and proudly served his country in the US Navy, where he served aboard the USS Kittyhawk as an Aviation Boatswains Mate during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid Gamecock football fan. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Evelyn Lineberry-Rasmussen; seven children and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved dogs Mitzi and Peanuts.
