To the Woodlief family- my deepest sympathy for your loss. I adored Greg and all the wonderful memories he made for me in my numerous trips to Atlanta. Many great dinner conversations, dancing till the wee hours, and a fun vacation to Door County, WI. He always talked about taking me to meet his mother, father and step mom. He loved his family very much and he was a genuine, dear soul that I am grateful to have had so many wonderful times together with. I pray he rests in peace. Debbie Gurley

My heartfelt prayers go to Greg and his family. I met Greg back in 1978 and loved him the first time I met him. Greg had such a great sense of humor, he was kind, always there when you needed him and how he loved life! I will miss you Amigo very much, I will never forget our wonderful times together. I will always love you Greg! Maria Cabrera Jenkins

To the Woodlief family, I am so saddened by Greg's passing. In earlier years we were such good friends and had some wonderful times together. He was like a brother to me in many ways, and I have visited in several of your homes. As life happens, we went our separate ways, but neither of us forgot our earlier bond. I will miss him greatly.

I have known Greg for many years having being part of the pageant scene. I always looked forward to seeing him at the pageants and he always made the Miss DeKalb pageant one of his yearly quests. Greg always had a smile on his face and a hug for me. I will miss not seeing the twinkle in his eye and the kind words. A friend that will be greatly missed. Barbara Watkins

Greg and I have been friends for 38 years and we had some wonderful times. He was a wonderful friend and someone who was always there when you needed a helping hand. He loved music and dancing and kept me on the dance floor whenever possible. We had a group of friends and we loved to have gatherings to watch some of our favorite TV shows. He was so loved and will be missed. Life will be very different without him in our lives. Gloria Kingsbery 6-9-14

I didn't know Greg as well as most Pageant people but I will tell you that he was a GOOD Man who cared about All the girls! He would always have a Smile and a Hug for Hayley where ever he saw her and was always very polite to me! Even the year Hayley wasn't in the pageant, he would tell her,"You will be back next year!" He always made you feel a little better about yourself! He will be very much missed!
