Obituary of Harry Myers Reedy

Harry Myers Reedy, 85, of West Columbia passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014. Born in Washington County, VA he was the son of the late John Henry Reedy and Maxie Hawkins Reedy. Mr. Reedy was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Ruth Reedy; daughter and son-in-law, Vanessa and Keith Busbee, of West Columbia, SC; brother, David L. Reedy of Kilmarnock, VA; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his son, Harry Michael Reedy. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 at 11am in Woodridge Memorial Park and Funeral Home Mausoleum Chapel, 138 Corley Mill Road Lexington SC 29072.Reverend Eddie Coakley and Reverend Jim Smith will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 10am until the hour of the service in the chapel. Private burial will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. The family has entrusted Woodridge Funeral Home in handling the arrangements.
