Obituary of Jack H Sheely

Jack H. Sheely, 62, of Columbia went home to be with God on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Born on December 21, 1951 in Beaufort, SC he is the son of Beverly Y. Sheely and the late, Charles W Sheely. Jack Sheely was a man that was loved by his family and friends. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 27years, Beverly A. Sheely of Hopkins, SC; daughter, Jodi Sheely and her son, Tobin of Walterboro, SC; brothers, Charles "Chip" W Sheely (Glenn) of Blythewood, SC; Joseph Sheely Young of Chester, SC; Cary G. Sheely (Valerie) and their son, Trevor of Hopkins, SC. Jack drove over the road trucks for 25years and then was an Auto Mechanic for 9years in Massillon, Ohio. After retirement he raised chickens and gardened. Jack was a handy man and a true "Jack" of all trades. He enjoyed repairing automobiles and just about anything else people brought to him. He built furniture for his home and barns for his chickens. He bought over 6acres of Land in Hopkins, SC and turned it into a private wildlife refuge with all his handy work and his love for all living things that God created. Animals were drawn to Jack with the help of his wife all animals and birds that visited their land were loved and fed. Most of them returned daily and became part of their family. Jack H. We know that all we have to do is visit your home and touch all the things you have created and we will be touching you.
